Golf Club Altenhof

One of the most beautiful golf courses in Schleswig-Holstein is embedded in the park of the Gut Altenhof manor house with its old trees and in a hilly landscape of fields, pastures and forests. This oasis of calm is only 1 km from the Baltic Sea. This 18-hole championship course has a pro shop, driving range, chipping and pitching green, and putting green. Even talented golfers, beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein, are faced with the highest demands on this course. The Altenhof Golf Club was founded in August 1971. It was the sixth golf club in Schleswig-Holstein and around the hundredth in Germany.

The modern club rooms are located in a side wing of the castle-like mansion from the 18th century. A cultivated gastronomy awaits you. The so-called Kuhhaus is located on the grounds of the Altenhof estate. The Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival uses the renovated building for a series of concerts every year.

Golf Club Kitzeberg

Founded in 1902, The Kitzeberg Golf Club awaits you on the east side of the Kiel Fjord located about 10 km north of the city center and the port with its ferries and cruise ships. The original 9-hole course was expanded into an 18-hole championship course in the year 2000.

The very diverse fairways fit harmoniously into the somewhat hilly terrain. Spend relaxing golf lessons not far from the beaches of the Kiel Fjord and experience golf in good company as a harmonious combination of concentration, exercise and fitness.

Our partners Golf Club Altenhof and Golf Club Kitzeberg offer you excellent golf courses, which are available to our guests. However, if you are looking for alternative courses, in another region of Schleswig-Holstein, we can recommend the following golf clubs and golf courses:

Under the motto “Golf without tee times” you can come to play at any time without any prior notice given. The golf course, which opened in 1989, with a unique attractive landscape is embedded in the typical Holstein terminal moraine landscape between moors and hills surrounded by the Preetz monastery forest.

Sporty, but not too difficult for beginners, it offers a real challenge for boogie and scratch players with its water hazards, bunkers and many slopes.

The Havighorst golf course has 18 hole courses. Both the first and the second 9 holes start and end at the clubhouse, so they can be played independently like classic 9-hole courses.

The Neudorfer Platz is the venerable "old lady” and was built in 1992 around the Golfodrome. With a length of 2,000 m and par 32, it can be played in the tournament according to the handicap. This part of the facility is public. You do not need a membership in the German Golf Association. The handicap is sufficient.
